20 0 3年 5月 2 2日阿尔及利亚发生 6 9级地震 ,造成生命和财产的严重损失。这是阿尔及利亚近 2 0年来遭遇最强烈的一次地震袭击。文章对该震的基本参数、震源机制、破坏伤亡、救援和发震背景等作了概述。
On May 22,2003,an earthquake of M 6.9 occurred in Algeria,resulting the heavy losses of life and property.This is the strongest earthquake which struck Algeria in recent twenty years.Some information data about the earthquake are outlined,including basic parameters,focal mechanism,damage,casualties,emergency rescue and background of earthquake occurrence.
