摘要
关于“眇”的本义,有的字、辞典说是“瞎了一只眼睛”。本文通过引证古今一些字书的注解和前辈学者的论述,从本义与引申义的关系和声近义通的角度指出:“眇“的本义不是“瞎了一只眼睛”,而是“小目”。
What is the original meaning of '眇'? Some dictionaries say it is 'blinding in one eye'. This paper quotes from some older generation scholars' viewpoints and some annotations of the dictionaries from the ancient times to the present age, and then points out that the original meaning of '眇' is not 'blinding in one eye', but 'small eyes' from two angles: one is the relation of original meaning and extensive meanings, the other is that ' if the pronunciation is similar, the meaning is in common' .
