On the Development and Management Innovation of Petty Commodity Markets in Wuhan

武汉市小商品市场发展目前主要存在市场规模结构不合理、重复建设、缺乏本地产业支撑与拉动等问题。无论是全国还是武汉,小商品市场都面临发展与制度、管理创新的问题。政府应转变职能,主要搞好宏观调控和政策规划,把小商品市场纳入国家流通总体政策来考虑,从流通合理化、现代化角度研究批发市场的发展政策,依法治市。大城市必须有大批发市场,小商品市场应压缩调整,以专业街的形式发展。

This paper discusses some problems such as irrational market structure,duplicate construction,lacking of the support by local industry in Wuhan.Whether in Wuhan or throughout the whole country,the petty commodity markets are faced with problems in development,innovation of systems and administration. The local government should transform the functions and make a macro adjustment and plan so as to put the petty commodity market under the circulation policy, study the policy in the development of wholesale market in the more rational and modern way,and administrate the cities by law.Big cities should devote their major efforts to the building of large wholesale markets in the form of specialized street,and at the same time,to reduce the petty commodity market.
