摘要
提出两种性能检验统计参数,用来衡量各种合成孔径雷达(SAR)图像灰度压缩算法造成的直方图差异。首先对原始图像直方图进行动态范围变换,求得其相对均值与相对方差,后将压缩图像直方图的均值和方差与之比较,得到相对均值偏量与相对方差偏量。计算机仿真结果与目视判读一致,可用于对SAR图像灰度压缩算法的性能检验。
Two statistical parameters are proposed in this paper, which characterize the errors of the histograms brought by different gray compression algorithms for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images. Firstly we transform the histogram dynamic range of the original images and calculate the relative mean and relative variance. Then we compare these values with the mean and variance of the histograms of the compression images and obtain the relative mean error and relative variance error. Simulation results are in accordance with manual evaluation and indicate the proposed method can be used for the evaluation of the performances of SAR images gray compression algorithms.
