使役动词及其句型结构是英语的基本特色之一。英语中,部分名词或形容词可转化或派生为使役动词。部分不及物或及物动词可用作使役动词。使役动词句型结构分为两种:一种是使役动词后接施事宾语,另一种是使役动词后接宾语加宾语补语。

The causative verbs and their sentence patterns are one of the English basic characteristics. In English, some nouns or adjectives can be converted to the causative verbs. The causative verbs can be also derived from some nouns or adjectives. Some intransitive or transitive verbs can be used as causative or factitive verbs. The causative verbs plus the objects and plus the object complements. 
