摘要
缺乏竞争是我国中介服务业发展缓慢的一个主要原因 ,但引入竞争却并不意味着要实行自由进入 ,因为中介服务的纵向差异性 ,在自由进入的条件下 ,中介机构在服务质量上的博弈会降低社会总福利 ,产生无效率。因此 ,推动中介服务业的良性发展 ,政府在打破中介服务业行政垄断的同时 ,必须从网络规模方面对该行业的进入进行规制。
Lack of competition is the main cause of slow development of China′s intermediary industry. Enhancing competition does not mean free entry. Intermediary service is a vertical differentiation product. Free entry may induce intermediary firms′ quality game and strategic quality distortion, which will decrease social welfare and lead to inefficiency. Therefore, in addition to break the administration monopoly, government must make entry regulations based on network scope to promote healthy development of intermediary industry.
