梅贻琦的通识教育观及其对当代教育的启示

对梅贻琦的通识教育观进行了系统的考察 ,如他关于通识教育对人生的作用及在大学中的地位的论述 ;他指出的近代中国大学教育的一大通病———通识教育不足 ;他提出的实施通识教育的途径等。并从中得出几点启示 :进一步加强对大学通识教育目的、地位的认识 ,加强对大学通识教育现状的了解 。

This paper analyses systematically Yi-qi Mei's views of general education. It includes that he discussed the use of general education to life and the position of general education in college; He pointed out that general fault in the instruction of Chinese modern university is that it is lack of general education; He put forward some methods carried out in universities, and so on. We can get some inspirations from his views, namely, we must understand further the goal and position of general education in universities and look for a great of methods to carry out general education.
