摘要
Jiao Ran was the most famous Buddhist poet in Tang Dynasty. He made the greatest contribution to the Chinese poetics, putting forward earlier than anyone else the artistic conception in the area of poetic aesthetics, with his publications such as The Mode of Poetry,Poetics,Critical Review of Poems at the highest theoretical level in Tang Dynasty. The wide influence of Buddhism on Jiao Ran’s poetics resulted in his "leisure theory","ineffability theory"and his dialectic methodology in poetics derived from Buddhist"juste milieu".
