This story describes the hard history of common people under the ultraleft thoughts by creating sucessfully the character named Xu Sanguan, who was the typical image of common working people at the lowest social level. The works reveals the contradiction of the character with sober and object description of language and behavior. It also shows another leap of the author's artistic thoughts: To have sucessfully combined pioneer Literature with Realistic Literatue and realized the localization of modern Literature.
