摘要
美国为战略防御正在研制高功率射频型自由电子激光器,HIBAF 是一种高亮度加速器驱动的自由电子激光器,该装置提供的电子束流亮度远远超过了其它同类设备可获得的亮度,并能产生远红外至紫外波长的高质量激光。本文简单介绍了它的工作机理和束线的设计考虑,最后讨论了它计算出的系统性能与实验结果。
This paper is intended to describe a high brightness acce- lerator FEL(HIBAF) being developed by USA for strategic defense. HIBAF is far superior in high electron beam brightness to most other facilities.It can provide high quality laser beam of the wavelength from far infrared to ultraviolet.This paper briefly presents its ope- rational mechanism and design idea of the beam line,discusses the ca- lculation and experiment results of the system.
