摘要
本文利用MM5 (V3)中尺度模式系统以 1998年 5月南海季风爆发过程为例 ,试验了模式顶层气压选取对南海季风爆发过程模拟结果的影响。共做了 2个数值试验 ,分别将模式顶选在 10 0hPa和 5 0hPa。试验表明 ,模式顶选取更高将使得和南海季风爆发过程相对应的东亚高空急流强度和位置模拟与观测更趋一致 。
The effects of model top pressure on the simulation of onset process of South China Sea (SCS) summer monsoon were investigated by use of meso-scale model MM5 (V3) and the onset case of May,1998.Two experiments were conducted with the model top pressure at 100 hPa and 50 hPa,respectively.The results show that the simulated strength and location of East Asia high level jet,associated with the onset of SCS monsoon,are closer to that of observation;compared with the model top at 50 hPa,the simulation of precipitation period and quantity in the north part of SCS is improved significantly.
