This paper introduced the field application of the diesel high pressure oil pipe pressure wave detection instrument developed by Locomotive and Car Research Institute,China Academy of Railway Sicences in Baofeng Locomotive Depot.The field application showed that the instrument had high reliability and the detection result had high veracity.
