在IBM PC微机上建立了一个蛋白质数据库及其管理分析系统。

A protein database and its management system were developed on IBM PC microcomputers. The atom coordinate files and the management system were stored in the hard disk. For compatibility with brookhaven protein data bank, all of the source data files were stored in the database in the standard PDB format, and all of the PDB key words were adopted as the definition words for the indexing of the database. The structure of the management system was divided into three levels. The user may select the available functions from the menu to search certain data file and to get the structural information of proteins by different ways.
