摘要
本文探测了由紫外辐射和超软X射线在正比计数管内形成单电子和少数电子引起电离雪崩所形成的脉冲高度分布,分析了实验结果并给出了理论解释。
This paper presents the experemental study on pulse-height distribution produced by single and a few primary electrons which are released by ultraviolet radiation and ultrasoft X-rays in gas proprotional counter. The result shows that the pulse-height distribution of a few primary electrons is a weighted sum of Г distributions under conditions the single electron spectrum can be represented by a simple exponential.
