人的素质是把获得的知识、技能内化于身心 ,升华而形成的一种稳定的品质和素养 .文化素质是一种基础性素质 ,占有重要的地位 ,文章通过分析物理学与其他自然科学、数学及人文科学等文化素质的关系 ,以及物理学知识对人形成正确的自然观人生观的重要作用 ,论证了物理学教育在素质教育中具有的特殊地位 .

Human character and intellect develops through the assimilation and sublimation of knowledge and ability. Edudition is a fundamental, vital quality. The relationships between physics and the other natural sciences, mathematics and the humanitics are analyzed as well as the importance of physics knowledge in the shaping of a correct philosophy towards nature and life. It is shown that physics education plays a particularly important and positive role in the development of human character and intellect.
