《文选》成书考辨

《文选》并非是先纂长编再行选编的两阶段成书的总集 ,《文选》实为据前贤总集进行再选编而成的再选本 ,且《文选》所选多为历代公认的名作 ,故《文选》成书殊非难事。昭明以一人之力 ,再辅之若干助手 。

The anthology of The Selections of Literary Works ( Wenxuan ) did not comprise two stages: First to compose the lengthy literary works, then to make out selections. The Selections of Literary Works ( Wenxuan ) was completed by selecting what had been selected and what had been renowned. So it was not too difficult for the Crown Prince of Zhaoming (Xiao Tong) and his several assistants to complete this work in somewhat haste.
