Biosurfactant is a kind of microbial compounds produced by microorganism that exhibited pronounced surface activity.Biosurfactants have physical and chemical character of surfactants,in addition it is nonpoisonous and easily biodegradable.The results showed that the prospect of its application is good and biosurfactants would be used as a substitute for surfactants.The history,property and varieties of biosurfactants as well as its application were reviewed briefly.;
