毕节地区少数民族学生母语影响英语学习情况调查

A Investigative Report Upon the Mother Tongue's Influence on the English Learning of the Ethnic Students in Bijie Prefecture

该调查报告是毕节师专英语系“毕节地区少数民族学生母语语音对英语学习的影响”课题组的结题报告。该课题组在《毕节师专学报》1 999年第 3期已发表的论文《从语音分析看毕节地区汉彝苗语诸方言对英语语音的影响》的基础上 ,对毕节大南山、威宁石门坎、大方响水乡、黔西五里乡等地的少数民族语言和毕节地区民中、威宁民中以及上述语言点的少数民族学生学习汉语、英语的情况进行了实地调查 ,补充和校正了对有关少数民族语言语音系统的论证 ,再次进行了语音对比分析 ,从而得出了毕节地区少数民族学生比起汉族学生来 ,学习英语元音的困难比学习英语辅音的困难更大等结论。希望能引起英语教学界的重视。

This report belongs to the conclusive one of 'The scientific researech upon the mother tongue's influence on the English study of the Ethnic Students'.Based on the essay entitled'Investigating the Influence of Han,Yi,Miao languages and Dialects in Bijie Prefecture upon the Learning of English Pronunciationby Phonetic Contrastive Analyses'published in Journal of Bijie Teachers College No.3,1999, the group has the spot-investigation on the study of Chinese and English among the ethnic students in Dananshang of Bijie,the national middle school of Bijie prefecture,Shimenkan of Weining and Weining'national middle school,Xinagshui of Dafang,and Wuli of Qianxi etc.According to the findings and the investigation,the group has the better and improved conclusion about the ethnic languages phonetic system.After the group's reanalyses,they got the conclusion that,compared with the Han students,the ethnic students have much more difficulty learning English vowels than learning consonants.At the same time,the group illustrates the fact that the ethnic students are much poorer in their English study than the Han students.
