On The Cultivation of English Majors in Local College

培养立足地方、面向世界、为地方经济建设服务的复合型外语人才是 2 1世纪地方高校外语院系人才培养的目标 ;而先进的教育理念 ,具有结合地方经济特色的课程设置 。

This article points out that the aim of the English department in a local college is to cultivate qualified multi-purpose English majors.And it also argues that only by renewing our educational ideal,adjusting our former curriculums,and adopting new teaching methods,can we achieve our aim.
