The current situation of tourism education was analyzed.Then it was proposed that tourism education should have its reasonable localization and make definite its professional training objectives.It was also suggested that the teaching and training approaches should be focused on cultivating capability and promoting training of multi-purpose talents to meet the needs of tourism business in the 21 st century in China.
