The article introduces the present situation of the communication and transport in Chenzhou City, Hunan Provinceand analyzes the contradictions existing in the work of railway freight transport. It further makes clear the main object for themarketing work of the railway freight transport based on the detailed division of the transport markets and puts forward somesuggestions for improving the marketing of the railway freight transport by unifying the thinking, fostering the sense of overallsituation and carrying out the overall marketing work.
