新疆拟游隼生态观察

BREEDING ECOLOGY OF BARBARY FALCON FALCO PELEGRINOIDES BABYLONICUSIN XINJIANG

拟游隼 (Falcopelegrinoidesbabylonicus)在国内仅见于新疆南部。作者于 2 0 0 1年 4～ 6月在木扎特河流域对其繁殖进行了观察。窝雏数为 3只 ,每日有 5～ 6次喂食。食物以鸽类为主。

Barbary falcon ( Falco pelegrinoides babylonicus ) was a very special species in the arid zone of the Center Asia. The breeding regions are from west to east of Xinjiang,including the counties of Kashi, Yarkant, Guma, Kuqa, Baicheng, Xinhe and Hejing. From April to June 2001, the nests of the falcon were found near Muzat River, between the counties of Baicheng, Xinhe and Kuqa, 41°42'07'N and 82°40'39'E,with an elevation of 1031 m,located in the south of Xinjiang, China, with the vegetation of habitat Ephedra sp., Reaumuria soongorica, Anabasis sp., Zygophyllum sp., poplars Populus diversifolia and Populus pruinosa, and Tamarix sp. etc. One nest was in the hole on cliff of the river,and there were 3 young birds in the hole in 3 May 2001. The adults hunt on birds such as wild and domestic pigeons. The young birds were fed for 5 to 6 times at one day. Some species also bred near the river valley, e.g. Ciconia nigra, Milvus migrans, Buteo lagopus, Corvus corax et C.corone.
