Effects of Chondroitin Sulfate on the Proliferation of Chondrocytes in vitro

目的 探讨硫酸软骨素对软骨细胞增殖的影响。 方法 MTT法研究硫酸软骨素对体外培养软骨细胞存活与增殖的影响。 结果 在含 2 0 ,10 ,5 mg/m L 硫酸软骨素的条件培养液中 ,软骨细胞的增殖不受影响 ,用 MTT法测得的光密度值与对照组无明显差异 (P>0 .0 5 )。

Objective To figure out the influence of chondroitin sulfate on the proliferation of chondrocytes and the possible role in treating otosclerosis. Methods The effect of chondroitin sulfate on proliferation and viability of the chondrocytes were studied by MTT method. Results In the conditioned medium containing 5, 10, and 20 mg/mL of chondroitin sulfate, the proliferation of the chondrocytes was not found. Conclusion Chondroprotective agent of chondroitin sulfate will not cause the over\|proliferation of chondrocytes in vitro.
