Nation-State Education and the Internationalization of Education in the context of Globalization

全球化是一个近乎被滥用的流行话语,本文拟对全球化从概念到内涵作较为全面的梳理,初步探讨民族国家教育在全球化背景下所面临的挑战。指出全球化并未从根本上改变民族国家教育的功能和形态,民族国家教育现代化的目标依然指向国家的发展需求,当今各国教育间的相互交流更多地被赋予了“国际化”的特点。

Globalization is a nearly abused word. This paper presents a comprehensive clarification and analysis of the concept 揼lobalization? then it goes further to the question of the challenges faced by nation-state education in the background of globalization.This paper points out that globalization does not radically change the functions and forms of nation-state education, the modernization of nation-state education still aims to national development, and the intercommunication among different nation抯 education is characterized by internationalization.
