Kinetics of Ethyl Tertiary-butyl Ether Syhthesis on Modified β-Zeolite

摘要  以乙醇和异丁烯为原料,β分子筛为催化剂合成了乙基叔丁基醚(ETBE),建立了反应动力学模型,与实验数据吻合较好。结果表明,异丁烯对反应有促进作用,而乙醇抑制了反应的进行,为实际工业生产中ETBE的合成提供了基本的指导依据。此外,实验发现β分子筛在140℃下仍具有很好的催化活性,热稳定性较好。 Ethyl tertiarybutyl ether (ETBE) synthesis with ethanol and isobutene with βzeolite used as catalysts was investigated. A kinetics model were given, which showed excellent agreement with experimental data. It was found that isobutene can accelerate the initial reaction rate, while ethanol inhabits it. These provided the fundamental guidance for industrialization of ETBE production. It was also found that βzeolite still has a good catalytic activity at 140℃. This showed that βzeolite is more thermally stable than resins.
