On Development of Fruit Industry of North Fujian Province after China’s Entry into WTO

果业是闽北农村经济重要的组成部分。要有效地应对加入世贸组织之后的各种挑战 ,必须扬长避短 ,借鉴经验 ,优化结构。同时要以科技兴果为支撑 ,建立农工贸一体化的龙头企业和生产基地 ,综合开发富有山区特色的优质果品经济产业。

The fruit industry is the main component of the economy of North Fujian. It should take advantages, draw on others’ experiences and optimize its structure. Meanwhile leading enterprises and production bases, which integrate agriclture, industry and trade into a coherent whole, should be built, so as to develop the high quality fruit industry with mountain area characters.
