摘要
该文首先给出成语定义,强调其“民族性”,而后又从汉语成语的“形”“神”两方面,以《红楼梦》杨译本为蓝本,探讨成语翻译中文化内涵的处理,强调作为文化传播使者的译者要更重视译文读者的反应,才能真正达到传播中国文化的目的。
The paper first gives us the definition of idioms, attaching more importance to its National Trait; then, in terms of Chinese idioms' Form and Meaning , the writer, taking Yang's English translation of A Dream of Red Mansions as examples, explores the translation of Chinese Cultural Connotation in idioms and focuses on the point that as a culture communicator, the translator should lay emphasis on the audience's response so as to attain the real target of propagating Chinese culture.
