Automatic Measurement of the Extinction Cross-section of a Spheroidal Scattering Particle Using an Open Resonator at 8-mm Band

本文讨论8mm频段准光腔的宽频带特性及耦合孔对准光腔的影响。利用建立的一套8mm频段准光腔自动测量散射粒子球消光截面的系统,对几种散射粒子球进行了实际测量,并与理论值进行了比较。

In this paper,the wideband properties of open resonator and theinfluence of coupling hole on the open resonator at 8-mm band are discussed.An automatic computer-controlled measurement system of the extinction cross-section of a spheroidal scattering particle using an open resonator at 8-mm band has been set up.The practical measurements were carried out on some spheroidal scattering particles,and the experimental results were compared with the theoretical calculated values.
