以 2 ,4-二羟基苯乙酮为起始原料 ,经过异戊烯基取代、脱氢闭环、羟醛缩合、催化环化等步骤完成了天然产物 7,8-( 2 ,2 -二甲基吡喃 ) -4′-甲氧基黄烷酮 ( 1 )的首次全合成 ,中间体查尔酮 5也是天然产物 .

The first total synthesis of 7,8-(2,2-dimethylpyrano)-4′-methoxyflavanone,as well as 3′,4′-(2,2-dimethylpyrano)-2′-hydroxy-4-methoxychalcone,was accomplished from 2,4-dihydroxyacetophenone by prenylation,dehydrogenation cyclization,condensation and cyclization in four steps.
