This article reviews that MDA cancelled the spacebased laser integrated flight experiment program and its impact.The reasons were analyzed by means of present american military requirements and the technical and operational problems in the spacebased laser itself.Finally,the possible replacement schemes of the SpaceBased Laser system and the relay mirror technology were discussed.
