On Well-off Society and Building Well-off Society

围绕党的十六大报告所提出的 :“我们要在本世纪头二十年 ,集中力量 ,全面建设惠及十几亿人口的更高水平的小康社会”的思想 ,着重对现代化建设三步走战略目标与“小康”问题、我国人民现实生活中的小康水平、全面建设高水平小康社会的战略构想以及全面建设小康社会的指导方针等 ,进行了深入的探讨。强调只要我们“聚精会神搞建设 ,一心一意谋发展” ,全面建设小康社会的目标 ,一定能够实现。

At the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) JIANG Ze-min pointed out that we will build a Well-off Society in an All-Round Way and create a new situation in building socialism with Chinese characteristics. Basing upon these stand points, four main problems should be concerned—the relationship between there strategy step to realize the constructing goals of modernization, what is the real situations of the well-off society in China right now, the strategic framework, and setting down the guidelines of building a well-off society in an all-round way. It also emphasized that if all Chinese people concentrate on constructing the society and developing the national economy, it is possible to achieve the great goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way.
