摘要 以大量的实验数据为基础,就硫酸钡对电池性能的影响进行了详细的论述,并从理论的角度对此进行了分析。在其他条件完全相同的情况下,我们选择了视密度分别为0.45g·mL-1和0.62g·mL-1的硫酸钡作为负极板添加剂,以验证它们对电池性能的影响。从实验结果可以看出,不同视密度的硫酸钡对电池的循环寿命有直接影响,但对电池的初期容量、低温高倍率放电、保存特性和浮充寿命等方面的性能影响不大。硫酸钡能够有效防止负极板活性物质的钝化及其表面积的收缩,对改善电池的循环寿命起着重要的作用,而且视密度越大(粒径越小)效果越明显。 Effects of BaSO 4 on the performance of valve-regulated lead-acid battery (VRLAB) was described in detail and analyzed theoretically. Th e BaSO4 samples with the appearance den sity of 0.45 g/mL and 0.62 g/mL were sel ected as the additives for negative plat es in VRLAB. The experimental results sh ow that the BaSO4 with various appearan ce density has direct effect on the cycl e life of VRLAB, whereas it has not grea t influences on the initial capacity, th e discharge performance at low temperatu re and high rates, the storage character istic and the floating charge life of VR LAB. BaSO4, especially that with high a ppearance density (i. e. with small part icle size), can inhibit the passivation and surface-area decrease of active mate rials on negative plates and improve the cycle life of VRLAB.
