摘要
以大量的实验数据为基础,就硫酸钡对电池性能的影响进行了详细的论述,并从理论的角度对此进行了分析。在其他条件完全相同的情况下,我们选择了视密度分别为0.45g·mL-1和0.62g·mL-1的硫酸钡作为负极板添加剂,以验证它们对电池性能的影响。从实验结果可以看出,不同视密度的硫酸钡对电池的循环寿命有直接影响,但对电池的初期容量、低温高倍率放电、保存特性和浮充寿命等方面的性能影响不大。硫酸钡能够有效防止负极板活性物质的钝化及其表面积的收缩,对改善电池的循环寿命起着重要的作用,而且视密度越大(粒径越小)效果越明显。
Effects of BaSO 4 on the performance of valve-regulated lead-acid battery (VRLAB) was described in detail and analyzed theoretically. Th e BaSO4 samples with the appearance den sity of 0.45 g/mL and 0.62 g/mL were sel ected as the additives for negative plat es in VRLAB. The experimental results sh ow that the BaSO4 with various appearan ce density has direct effect on the cycl e life of VRLAB, whereas it has not grea t influences on the initial capacity, th e discharge performance at low temperatu re and high rates, the storage character istic and the floating charge life of VR LAB. BaSO4, especially that with high a ppearance density (i. e. with small part icle size), can inhibit the passivation and surface-area decrease of active mate rials on negative plates and improve the cycle life of VRLAB.
