This thesis interprets that designers can apply the two applications of Excel and Auto CAD to draw precisely the outline curve. Then the problem that the cam couldnt be drawn in AutoCAD will be solved and the function of AutoCAD could be extended by way of analyzing geometrically the outline curve of the cam.
