Model Optimization in Traffic Forecast

文章对使用指数模型预测交通流量过程中模型参数估计方法进行了优化,提出采用遗传算法(GA)的思路,通过仿真,可以归纳出GA在求解参数最优问题上优势,省去了严格的数学公式的推导步骤,为交通预测模型的优化研究提供了新思路。

Exponential model is often used in traffic forecast. The paper optimizes the method of parameter estimation in traffic forecasting with exponential model. At the same time, the paper makes use of the genetic algorithms(GA) to emulate the optimized method. It is proved to be a accurate,direct and easy method of parameter estimation. And thus it gives a new idea to model optimization in traffic forecast.
