回顾了继电保护技术发展的历史 ,对我国继电保护技术的现状进行了分析和讨论 ,最后根据继电保护技术发展的规律和相关新技术的应用 ,展望了其发展方向和前景 ,提出继电保护技术的发展将出现原理突破和应用革命 ,由数字时代跨入信息化时代 。

The development of relay protection technique is reviewed historically. The current situation of the relay protection in China is analyzed and discussed. Based on the developing rules and the application of related new technique, the trend and prospect of relay protection technique are laid out. It is pointed out that the development of relay protection technique would break through the existing principles and lead to a revolution in practical use. With its development from digital to overall system information, the relay protection technique will advanced into a new era.
