A Study on the Application of Black Direct Dyes as an Alternative to C. I. Direct Black 38

The application properties of three direct dyes were studied in comparison with C.I.Direct Black 38. Similar dye exhaustion curves, color shades and dye depths, dye processing as well as absorption spectra were shown. Light and washing fastness were similar to or even better than those of C.I.Direct Black 38.
