论数学史教育的功能与措施

On the Functions and Measures of Education of the History of Mathematics

从数学史与高校数学教育两个角度 ,简要论述了数学史教育在高校数学教育中的四个重要功能 :有利于学生理解数学知识的本质 ;培养学生的思维能力 ;培养学生的数学研究能力 ;提高学生的综合文化素质。并提出了高校实施数学史教育的三项措施 :选择合适教材 ;联系学生知识并深入浅出地教学 ;宣传数学精神。

The essay formulizes the four functions of the education of mathematics history from the aspects of mathematics history and college mathematics education, and three presented measures about the education of mathematics history are the selection for teaching material,the teaching for explaining the profound in simple terms by the method of integratiing theory with students' knowledge,and the propaganda for mathematics spirit. It appeals to people to pay more attention to the education of mathematics history.
