摘要
卡耐基-梅隆大学研制的Mach是一个支持分布/并行体系结构的操作系统,具有许多新的特点。内存管理是Math中一个重要的组成部分,与Mach所提供的服务密切相关,对Mach的可移植性也有很大影响。本文介绍Mach内存管理的设计思想以及实现概要。
Mach, designed by CMU, is a multiprocessor operating system with many new features and the applicability to various multiprocessor architectures. Memory management, an important component of Mach, impacts not only on the facilities provided by Mach, but also on the portability of the operating system. This paper introduces the design consideration and implementation issues of memory management in Mach.
