摘要
抽取有效的图象特征是完成图象识别的首要任务.本文首先从代数理论导出一种新的概念:矩阵相似度,由此构造图象的相似性判别函数,从而提出一种基于相似性判别函数的图象特征抽取和识别方法.最后,我们将此方法用于解决图象识别中非常困难的人像识别问题.实验结果表明:我们的特征抽取和识别方法非常有效,由此设计的分类器具有较高的识别率.
To extract efficient image features is an important task for image recognition. In this paper, we first derive a new algebraic concept: similarity of matrices, establish a similar discrimination function of images, and further present a feature extraction and recognition method based on the similar discrimination function. Finally, this method is used to solve the recognition problem of human face images which is one of the most difficult problems in pattern recognition. Experimental results have shown that our feature extraction and recognition method is very effective, and the designed classifier has high recognition performance.
