The organization model of traditional railway logistics, with itslimitation, can hardly meet market's expectation of express delivery, which callsfor the reform of railway enterprises. By illustrating the manifestation of thehub-and-spoke railway logistics, the necessity and feasibility of developing suchlogistics as well as the difficulties encountered are analyzed. In the meanwhile,the paper comes up with some constructive ideas on how to develop the hub-and-spoke railway logistics.
