摘要
制备成本高是制约碳 /碳复合材料应用的主要因素 ,建立分析模型是一条降低其开发和制备成本的重要途径。根据等温 CVI工艺的传热与传质特点 ,以筒状零件为研究对象 ,利用有限元方法对其沉积过程的密度分布状态进行了分析与模拟 ,并且基于 Visual C+ +和 Open GL编程技术 ,建立了有限元模拟可视化系统 ,利用该系统 ,可以比较直观地观察零件的致密化效果和孔隙分布情况 ,以进行准确的科学分析 ,有利于正确理解 CVI工艺机理 。
Manufacturing of C/C composites with isothermal CVI (chemical vapor infiltration) process is costly and thus limits commercial applications of C/C composites. Visualization of isothermal CVI processes can, in our opinion, be highly effective in reducing cost of C/C composites. According to the mass transport characteristics of isothermal CVI processing of C/C composites, we applied FEM (finite element method) to analyzing and simulating the densification of the tube of C/C composites. Of course, such analysis and simulation required the indispensable help of two IT tools: the recent C++ language and the very recent OpenGL (Open Graphics Library). Thus we could perform very effective scientific analysis because the effect of densification and of distribution of porosities could be expressed very clearly and directly. Using our visualization technique, we expect that we can reduce number of experiments in development, thus reducing development cost, and we expect that we can reduce the time of densification, thus reducing manufacturing cost.
