摘要
主要讨论了用 JPEG2 0 0 0标准进行静态图像压缩时 ,小波基的选择对图像压缩性能的影响 .我们根据JPEG2 0 0 0标准 ,比较了各类图像在不同小波基下的压缩结果 ,发现在 JPEG2 0 0 0中 ,小波基的选择在一定程度上影响了图像的压缩性能 .对于某些图像 ,JPEG2 0 0 0标准的缺省小波基并不能取得较优的压缩结果 .文中分析了影响图像压缩性能的小波基与图像的特性 ,在此基础上 ,给出 JPEG2 0 0
In this paper, we evaluate the wavelet filters performance for the still image compression in JPEG2000. After compressing various images through various wavelets, we find that wavelet filters perform differently in the image compression. The default wavelet filters of JPEG2000 can not get the optimal result for some images. Based on analysis of the facts affecting compression performance , we propose the method of wavelet filters selection.
