中国宋学兴起的时代是中国学术思想史上继先秦"百家争鸣"之后的第二个发展高峰、黄金时代。发端之学、救弊之学、象数之学、气化之学、天理之学、事功之学、宗心之学、综合之学等学派的兴起,使中国哲学思想更趋理论化、系统化、完整化。

The rising age of Song school of thought was the second developing peak and golden age after early Qin's 'a hundred schools of thought contending' in the history of Chinese academic thought. The rising of schools of thought of faduan, jiubi, xiangshu, qifa, tianli, shigong, zongxin and zonghe made Chinese philosophic thinking more theorization, more systematization and more complelization.
