新中国高校自然科学学报的初次恢复重建略晚于其它期刊,是按基础有计划地从20世纪50年代中后期恢复重建的。确立了为社会主义科学文化教育建设事业服务的全新编辑出版指导思想,形成了具有一定数量,结构比较合理,层次较高的出版阵容,展示了建国初期高校在理工农医专业领域的重要教学科研成就。建立了编辑出版的良好基础,为新时期出版工作提供了理论依据和实践经验。

The first restoration of journals of natural sciences in colleges and universities of the new China was started a little late than that of other journals, which was a systematic effort on the basis of the remains beginning in the late 1950s. The new editorial and publishing guidelines were established, i.e. to serve for the socialist scientific education construction. A number of reasonably structured, highlevel publishing professionals were employed and the important teaching and research achievements of colleges and universities made in the new China were published. A good foundation was laid for editing and publishing, which provided theoretical basis and practical experience for the publishing work of the new period.
