通过对我国目前的武术运动发展状况、中华武术文化与奥林匹克文化的吻合程度、武术步人奥运会的项目设置问题及北京成功申办2008年奥运会对武术运动的促进作用等进行了综合分析，认为中华武术完全有可能在2008年步入奥运殿堂．

In order to research whether Chinese Wushu qualifies for the Olympic Games in 2008, this article analyses the present developmental status of Wushu, the relationship between Wushu and Olympic culture, the sports of Wushu to be set, and Beijing' s facilities for sponsoring the Olympic Games in 2008. The results show that Wushu can possibly enter the Olympic Games in 2008.
