摘要
介绍了挤压铸造法制备SiC_p增强铝基复合材料的方法,研究了该复合材料的摩擦磨损性能,分析了材料的磨损机理。在本研究的实验条件下,铝合金的磨损严重,而复合材料的耐磨性能良好。由于SiC_p增强铝基复合材料的密度低,因而在汽车工业中有广泛的应用前景。
Aluminum matrix composites which are reinforced with SiC particles are fabricated by squeeze casting and their Friction and Wear properties are investigated. The wear mechanism was analyzed in this paper. Under the conditions of this experiment the aluminum alloy has a poor wear resistance, but the SiC particles reinforced aluminum alloy exhibits an excellent wear resistance. With its low density the composites have broad prospect in automotive industry.
