This paper first analyses and sums up the errors in answered test papers of Foundation of Computer Mathematics (A) that students have made in recent years. Then it suggests that importance should be attached to teaching students elementary knowledge, that good study habits be developed and that ability of logic reasoning and operation should be trained so as to eliminate the influence of set of thought.
