Successful communication depends on the appropriate forms of expression. To develop students’ ability to judge language contexts, to use authentic materials for the development of their consciousness of cross-cultural communication, and to introduce pragmatic knowledge in the course of English teaching, are the important tasks in developing and improving college students’ pragmatic competence.
