Drastic Changes in the Soviet Union and in Eastern Europe vs.Prosperity of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics:A Comparison

世界社会主义运动受到前所未有的巨大冲击而跌入低谷,主要来自于苏东社会主义国家“多米诺骨牌”剧变的消极影响,根本原因在于执政党自身没有建设好,表现在:思想僵化,固守旧模式,经济落后;长期严重脱离群众,破坏、乃至毁灭党内民主;没有探索科学的执政理论作指导。而中国特色社会主义振兴的根本原因则在于我党在执政过程中与时俱进、始终保持先进性,表现在:在执政理论上、在执政实践中、在执政党自身建设上均坚持与时俱进。结论是:关键在于我党探索把握发展创新了共产党的执政规律:三个代表重要思想。

The drastic changes as falling dominos in the Soviet Union and in Eastern Europe were tremendous setbacks sustained by world socialism.The most important cause behind these phenomena was that the ruling parties of these socialist countries failed in their self-improvement,which was mainly embodied as follows:(1)a rigid way of thinking,clinging to old models,and a backward economy;(2)grave alienation from the masses,and breach of inner-party democracy;(3)lack of the scientific ruling theory as a guide.But,in the contrary,socialism with Chinese characteristics in China is growing more and more prosperous because our Party has always kept pace with the times and retained advanced nature in the theory and practice of its governance,especially in its self-improvement.In short,the key to the success lies in the fact that our Party has understood,developed and renovated the laws governing the rule of the country by the Communist Party,thus forming the important thought of the “Three Represents'.
