对培养中国大学生民主精神的两点建议

Fostering China University Students' Democratic Spirit :Two Suggestions

建设中国特色社会主义文明的伟大目标,使高校的培养目标之一就是使学生成为未来社会中富有民主精神的公民。面对由于“师道尊严”传统对大学生义务“一边倒”的不平等要求的现实问题困扰,建议应首先加强中国大学生的权利意识,在这方面应当对西方大学生权利意识培养中的“先进性”予以肯定性的重视,而且不能再停留于书面或口头上;其次,还建议鼓励中国大学生的参与意识,积极构建课堂教学民主机制的对话关系,并通过学生自我管理组织,制定和修改有关管理措施或制度,开辟畅通的沟通与反馈渠道来创设大学生参与管理的机会。

One of training objectives in institutions of higher learning is to enable students to become the citizens full of the democratic spirit in the future society .To foster the university students'democratic spirit ,it is necessary to concentrate our attention on the two aspets of work .One is to enhance the students'awareness of rights ,in which we can use some methods of Western countries for reference .Two is to increase the students'consciousness of participation, in which some steps can be taken to encourage the students to actively participate in management and other teaching activities .
